about the band:
wolfmother is an australian trio. members: andrew stockdale (vocals/guitar), chris ross (bass/keyboards), myles heskett (drums). released one album, wolfmother, in 2005, which went platinum twice in australia. appeared in rolling stone's "top 10 bands to watch 2006".

the review:
i hear a mix of psychedelic hard rock (led zeppelin, deep purple), and stoner influences (kyuss). high energy, loud, tight, groovy. not bad, but nothing new. i mean, if it weren't for some stoner influences, this could be songs from the 70's. which is not a bad thing if you're into 70's music of course.

the points of the jury:
3/5.
surely not bad for a debut. sounds promising. grooves are okay, but i'd like more melody. personally not my cup of tea, but i think there are a lot of people who might like this.
